We are entering the eighth month of the year with a new set of books to read. These books are in no particular order, but all of them are books that I hope to get to this month!

The first book is A Forgery of Fate by Elizabeth Lim. This is the June 2025 OwlCrate YA book.
"Truyan Saigas didn't choose to become a con artist, but after her father is lost at sea, it’s up to her to support her mother and two younger sisters."

The second book is The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin. This is book #1 in the Broken Earth trilogy. This is my book club's August pick.
"This is the way the world ends. Again."

The third book is The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent. This is book #2 in the Shadowborn Duet and book #5 in the Crowns of Nyaxia series.
"Mische made the ultimate sacrifice to save those she loves – and plunged the world into an eternal night."

The fourth book is Total Dreamboat by Katelyn Doyle. This is OwlCrate's June quarterly romance pick.
"Hope Lanover needs a vacation."

The fifth book is Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood. This is book #2 in the Not in Love series.
"Maya Killgore is twenty-three and still in the process of figuring out her life."

The sixth book is The Deal by Elle Kennedy. This is book #1 in the Off Campus series.
"She's about to make a deal with the college bad boy..."
Those are the 6 books that I have on my August TBR. Hopefully, I will be able to get through most, if not all of them, and who knows if more books will get added on. I hope everyone has a happy spring season! Looking forward to sharing my opinions about these books!
We have officially entered month 8 for the 2025 Goodreads challenge. I have currently read 45/60 books this year. Keep up to date with me and my book adventures on Instagram @thebooklover5, as well as check out my StoryGraph and Goodreads pages, and don't forget to subscribe to my blog for the latest updates on my reading world!
Until next time, Happy Reading :)
