August TBR

Another summer month of fun and sunshine reads. These books are in no particular order, but all of them are books that I hope to get to this month!

The first book is The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. This is book #1 in The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, and my book club's August book. This is also my (basically) annual re-read of this series because it is such a comfort read for me.

The second book is It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han. This is book #2 in The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy. This is also my (basically) annual re-read of this series because it is such a comfort read for me.

"It used to be that Belly counted the days until summer, until she was back at Cousins Beach with Conrad and Jeremiah."

The third book is We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han. This is book #3 in The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy. This is also my (basically) annual re-read of this series because it is such a comfort read for me.

"It's been two years since Conrad told Belly to go with Jeremiah."

The fourth book is Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. This is book #1 in the Empyrean series.

"Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. "

The fifth book is Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong. This is book #1 in the Flesh and False Gods series. This is OwlCrates July Adult book, the first in the Adult collection!

"Every year, thousands in the kingdom of Talin will flock to its capital twin cities, San-Er, where the palace hosts a set of games."

The sixth book is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. This is book #1 in the Throne of Glass series. I am reading this as part of my SJM rereads- I re-read ACOTAR in the beginning of the year, plan to read TOG this fall, and CC in January before book #3 comes out. I am also reading this as a buddy read with my friend Jenna who is reading TOG for the first time.

The seventh book is Garden of the Cursed by Katy Rose Pool. This is book #1 in the Garden of the Cursed series. This is the July YA OwlCrate book.

Those are the 7 books that I have on my August TBR. Hopefully, I will be able to get through most if not all of them, and who knows if more books will get added on (fingers crossed). I hope everyone has a happy end of summer! Looking forward to sharing my opinions about these books!
