Happy Christmas season, and joy to all the books we get to read!! These books are in no particular order, but all of them are books that I hope to get to this month!

The first book is What The River Knows by Isabel Ibanez. This is book #1 in the Secrets of the Nile series. This is the November YA OwlCrate book.
"Bolivian-Argentinian Inez Olivera belongs to the glittering upper society of nineteenth century Buenos Aires, and like the rest of the world, the town is steeped in old world magic that’s been largely left behind or forgotten."

The second book is Starling House by Alix E. Harrow. This is OwlCrate's October Adult book.
"Eden, Kentucky, is just another dying, bad-luck town, known only for the legend of E. Starling, the reclusive nineteenth-century author and illustrator who wrote The Underland--and disappeared. "

The third book is Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. This is book #1 in the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy. I am re-reading this so that I can be the most submerged into the universe for reading A Curse for True Love.
"For as long as she can remember, Evangeline Fox has believed in true love and happy endings... until she learns that the love of her life will marry another."

The fourth book is The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber. This is book #2 in the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy. I am re-reading this so that I can be the most submerged into the universe for reading A Curse for True Love.
"After Jacks, the Prince of Hearts, betrays her, Evangeline Fox swears she'll never trust him again."

The fifth book is A Curse fro True Love by Stephanie Garber. This is book #3 in the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy.
"Two villains, one girl, and a deadly battle for happily ever after."

The sixth book is Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey.
"Melody Gallard may be the daughter of music royalty, but her world is far from glamorous. She spends her days restoring old books and avoiding the limelight (one awkward tabloid photo was enough, thanks)."
Those are the 6 books that I have on my December TBR. Hopefully, I will be able to get through most if not all of them, and who knows if more books will get added on (fingers crossed). I hope everyone has a happy end of summer! Looking forward to sharing my opinions about these books!
Time to start month 12 of my 2023 Goodreads challenge of reading 100 books this year. I have completed my goal by reading 108 books, but always happy to beat it by more! Keep up to date with me and my book adventures on Instagram @thebooklover5, as well as check out my StoryGraph and Goodreads pages, and don't forget to subscribe to my blog for the latest updates on my reading world!
As always, Happy Reading :)
