This is the OwlCrate November 2025 YA box. This box has items in it inspired by One Dark Window, Belladonna, and A Study In Drowning. These books have been added to my TBR if they weren't already there.

Prepare yourself for the cold and windy days of winter with our comfy earmuffs! This item is the perfect for those who want to be warm in style. The earmuffs are inspired by A Study in Drowning and comes with a storage bag featuring a wonderful design by Gretchen Cobaugh (@lichen_and_limestone).

This month features the eleventh pin in our Enchanted Elixirs collection! Each month’s box includes a pin featuring magical elements from fantastical worlds all tucked away in a bottle—designed by Layla Ashtar (@layla_ashtar_shrine)!

The November book, The House Saphir by Marissa Meyer, explores mystery of the ghostly kind. In The House Saphir, Mallory is a fraud amongst a line of witches with the one ability to see ghosts. A self-proclaimed expert on Count Bastien Saphir, the man who murdered his three wives, she is invited by his great-grandson and heir to the estate to get rid of his ghost. But murder arrives again at the house and the killer might be closer than she ever expected. ⁠

This signed edition features a stunning redesigned dust jacket art by @littleforestcat_ and design by @lichen_and_limestone and stenciled edges art by @littleforestcat_ and design by @lichen_and_limestone. Turn over the cover for the reversible with gorgeous artwork by @yewberries. On the hardback, we have a foil hardcover case design by @azura.arts. Inside, you’ll find gorgeous end pages done by  @miaiminnis. Finally, an author letter and bonus content from Marissa Meyer have been bound into the book for subscribers!

Overall, the November 2025 YA Box, Ghostly Illusions, items were good. I was delighted with each of the items and the thought that was put into them. My favorite item this month was the blanket. It is perfect for a cozy reading time this fall.

December's theme is Change the prophecy, and the book features a cataclysm approaching, and our main characters are thrust into the middle of chaos. Our main girl will do anything to be the Chosen One and embrace the wand she desires, and our main boy will do anything to avoid it. And yet, the wand chooses the boy, and the girl makes a new, unheard-of wand. They must join together to defend their world from the cataclysm, but will they be able to avoid falling in love, or will their story end in fated tragedy?⁠
