I hope everyone had a wonderful spooky season. I cannot believe that it is already November! For those of you who know me well, know that November starts the Christmas season, and boy am I excited. Here is a list of the books I hauled in October.

The first book in my haul is Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. This is book #2 in the Empyrean series.
"Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College—Violet included."

The second book in my haul is Fourth Wing: Special Edition by Rebecca Yarros.
"Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history."

The third book in my book haul is What the River Knows by Isabel Ibañez.
This is the November OwlCrate book. For the OwlCrate edition, check out my November unboxing. I will be reading this with my OwlCrate friends for the read-along, date TBD.
"Bolivian-Argentinian Inez Olivera belongs to the glittering upper society of nineteenth century Buenos Aires, and like the rest of the world, the town is steeped in old world magic that’s been largely left behind or forgotten."

The fourth book in my haul is The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young.
This is the November Adult OwlCrate book. For the OwlCrate edition, check out my book review and mini unboxing. I will be reading this with my OwlCrate friends for the read-along, TBD.
"In the small mountain town of Jasper, North Carolina, June Farrow is waiting for fate to find her. "

The fifth book in my haul is Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales by Brothers Grimm.
"The Complete Grimm’s Fairy Tales contains the essential bedtime stories for children worldwide for the better part of two centuries."

The sixth book in my haul is The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allen Poe by Edgar Allen Poe.
"A Complete Collection of Classic Poe"

The seventh book in my haul is Reclaiming Body Trust: A Path to Healing & Liberation by Hilary Kinavey.
"Have you ever felt uncomfortable or not "at home" in your body?"

The eighth book in my haul is Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism by Barry M. Prizant.
I am reading this book with some of my coworkers, as part of a new book club that was started.
"Autism is usually portrayed as a checklist of deficits, including difficulties interacting socially, problems in communicating, sensory challenges, and repetitive behavior patterns."
I am so excited about this book haul and thankful for all the authors and publishers who sent these books my way. Hopefully, I will be able to read them all soon. So excited for each and every one of these books! I hope each of you is enjoying the start of the holiday season!
