This is the OwlCrate June 2024 box. This box has items in it inspired by The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, Once Upon a Broken Heart, The Unmaking of June Farrow, The Bear and the Nightingale, and Song of Achilles. These books have been added to my TBR if they weren't already there.

Here is the next addition to the royalty drinkware collection. Be sure to collect them all, because as much as they look amazing on their own, they are also a stackable set.
This month's stacking mug is based on Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber and is wonderfully designed by Lindsay Hook (@offthehookstudio) and Yeatasmin Shiropa (@the.pearledreader).

If you're in need of a convenient and useful pouch, they have the perfect one for you. Inspired by the Bear and the Nightingale, this pouch is the perfect size for storing all your trinkets, featuring art by @pauhami.

Escape to the floral fields of North Carolina with our Farrow Flowers candle. With scents of jasmine, vanilla, and ylang ylang, this candel is inspired by The Unmaking of June Farrow ad created by Flick the Wick.

Remember the story of Addie Larue with their beautiful locket. Featuring a design inspired by The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and featuring an interior where you can add anything you desire to remember, this locket was designed by Vera Drmanovski.

The enamel pin in the collection: Perfect Pairings. Each month's box includes a sliding pin featuring characters that pair together in the most fierce, intense, and romantic ways- all designed by Saiyre (@saiyre.art).
The 9th perfect pairing is inspired by The Song of Achilles, where Achilles and Patroclus are in bliss.

The September book, At the End of the River Styx by Michelle Kulwicki, is a devastatingly beautiful tale about queer love, acceptance, and grief. The first of our protagonists has been cursed, doomed to 500 years of service to the monstrous Ferryman of the Underworld, where he spends his days processing souls and wallowing in guilt and anger. In Portland, our other protagonist is the survivor of a traumatic accident, leaving him bereft with grief as he mourns the loss of his mother. When a mysterious mark appears on his hand, he finds himself drawn into a strange world — where he meets another whose grief seems to complement his own. But the two have been drawn to each other for a reason, and soon it becomes all too clear that their bond will lead them towards a devastating truth.
This signed edition features a gorgeous redesigned exclusive cover by @wavyhues and stenciled edges created by @talitasamiw. Turn over the cover for the reversible dust jacket by @llstarcasterll. On the hardback, they have some striking foiled designs done by @divineliterary. Inside you'll find gorgeous end pages done by @talitasami. Finally, an author letter and bonus content from Michelle Kulwicki has been bound into the book for subscribers!

Overall, the September 2024 Box, I'll Remember You items fit the theme so well. I was delighted with each of the items, and the thought that was put into them regarding the theme, and inspired books to meet it. My favorite item this month was the stackable mug- so far 3/3 I love, hopefully, I'll love #4 too. There is also a Spotify playlist, the differences between the original and exclusive cover designs, interviews, books related to the book of the month, and other excellent August releases can all be found in the themed packet.
October's theme is Bleed You Dry and is a captivating dark academia full of ancient secrets, betrayal, and an addictive enemies-to-lovers dynamic set in a secret society where vampires and humans coexist. The protagonist seeks to infiltrate this elite school where she suspects a vampire may be responsible for her sister's disappearance and her parent's death. She soon discovers that not only is she the sole heir to her family's seat of power, but she is also forced to live with her very same vampire. They must compete against each other for control over the inheritance while she tries to find and avenge her sister.
I hope you all enjoyed this review of the September 2024 OwlCrate box. I'm excited to read At The End of the River Styx with my OwlCrate friends, and am excited to use all of my themed items, some as decorations on my shelves!
Happy reading :)
