"Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover the snowstorm of the century, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.
Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal. If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. With an undiscovered chemistry burning beneath their clashes, the unlikely partnership quickly tumbles into an easy and surprising friendship.
But when other feelings start to enter the equation, can Jackson and Delilah withstand the storm? Or does what happens in the mountains stay in the mountains?"
This was such a heartfelt and wonderful romance about finding your path in life, love, family and standing up for yourself. And Now, Back to You follows Jackson and Delilah, who are both meteorologists and polar opposites of each other. But when they are partners for a snowstorm, they have to find a way to collaborate. Together they make a deal if Jackson agrees to help Delilah be taken seriously then Delilah will help Jackson with showing his fun side. What will happen next?
I was invested in the story and the romance from the very first page. The plot kept me engaged, and the pacing was perfect. The writing was easy to follow, descriptive, and witty. I enjoyed the winter vibes, and the sledding scene was super fun; it reminded me of my sledding adventures. Reading this book felt like a warm blanket in front of a fire. I felt many emotions while reading this book, including happiness, sadness, and anger. I appreciated that the author discussed important topics in a relatable way, such as family issues, anxiety, and job issues. The ending was heartwarming, and I'm glad it ended on a happy note.
I loved Delilah; she was spontaneous, independent, chaotic, resilient, brave, and caring. I was so proud that Delilah stood up for herself and made sure that people took her seriously. I'm in love with Jackson; he was funny, hardworking, organized, sweet, nerdy, and protective of his sisters. I loved that he rambled about the weather, and the fact that he has glasses made me fall even more. I'm so glad that Jackson showed his serious side as well as his fun side and everything in between. The sledding scene made me giggle and blush so much! The side characters were great, especially Penelope, Adeline, Lucie, Aiden, and Maggie. I loved Jackson's interactions with his sisters, Penelope and Adeline. It reminded me of how close my sister and I are.
The romance was a bit insta-lust to me, but I understood that the close proximity increased the timeline of their romance. The chemistry and tension between Delilah and Jackson were amazing! I'm glad that they actually talked about their feelings, and thankfully, there was no miscommunication. I loved that Delilah and Jackson were opposites but are great together. I adored that Jackson let Delilah be her own person, but also helped when she needed it. Deckson forever!
I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, awesome characters, and great chemistry between the main characters. I'm so excited for book #3!
Check out And Now Back To You, and discover what happens when forced proximity causes opposites to attract.
Happy reading :)
