We are kicking off the new season of the year with a new set of books to read. These books are in no particular order, but all of them are books that I hope to get to this month!

The first book is Song of the Six Realms by Judy I. Lin. This is the May 2024 YA OwlCrate book.

"Xue, a talented young musician, has no past and probably no future."

The second book is The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden. This is OwlCrate's March Adult book.

"January 1918. Laura Iven was a revered field nurse until she was wounded and discharged from the medical corps, leaving behind a brother still fighting in Flanders."

The third book is Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent. I am re-reading this in anticipation of book #2 and because this is my book club's June choice.

"The adopted human daughter of the Nightborn vampire king, Oraya carved her place in a world designed to kill her."

The fourth book is Unsteady by Peyton Corinne.

"Rhys Koteskiy is back — at least, he's supposed to be.

The fifth book is Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown. This is my work's book club choice for the quarter.

"Dr. Brené Brown, a research professor and thought leader on vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame, shares ten guideposts on the power of Wholehearted living—a way of engaging with the world from a place of worthiness."

Those are the 5 books that I have on my June TBR. Hopefully, I will be able to get through most, if not all of them, and who knows if more books will get added on. I hope everyone has a happy spring season! Looking forward to sharing my opinions about these books!

We have officially entered month 6 for the 2024 Goodreads challenge. I have currently read 34/60 books this year. Keep up to date with me and my book adventures on Instagram @thebooklover5, as well as check out my StoryGraph and Goodreads pages, and don't forget to subscribe to my blog for the latest updates on my reading world!

Until next time, Happy Reading :)
