Warmer weather means more time to read books in the sunshine. These books are in no particular order, but all of them are books that I hope to get to this month!

The first book is Circe by Madeline Miller. This is my book club's June pick. "In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child--neither powerful like her father nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power: the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves."

The second book is Beach Read by Emily Henry. "A romance writer who no longer believes in love and a literary writer stuck in a rut engage in a summer-long challenge that may just upend everything they believe about happily ever afters."

The third book is Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. Last month, my book club did a book borrow exchange and this is the book I got. "As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships--but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation."

The fourth book is House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas. This is book #2 in the Crescent City series, and will complete my reads of SJM books that are current released. "Bryce Quinlan and Hunt Athalar are trying to get back to normal―they may have saved Crescent City, but with so much upheaval in their lives lately, they mostly want a chance to relax. "

The fifth book is Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. This is book #1 in the Letters of Enchantment series. This is OwlCrate's May book. "When two young rival journalists find love through a magical connection, they must face the depths of hell, in a war among gods, to seal their fate forever." Those are the 5 books that I have on my May TBR. Hopefully, I will be able to get through most if not all of them, and who knows if more books will get added on (fingers crossed). I hope everyone has a happy new year! Looking forward to sharing my opinions about these books! Time to start month 6 of my 2023 Goodreads challenge of reading 100 books this year. I have read 52 books so far!
