The February book, A Stage Set for Villains by Shanon J. Spann, features a competition of immortality and a perilous bargain. Then, she encounters Jude, the Playhouse leader with whom she strikes a bargain, and realizes as more secrets are discovered that her curse is only just the beginning.

Inside, you’ll find gorgeous end pages done by @drigomez. Finally, an author letter and bonus content from Shannon J. Spann have been bound into the book for subscribers!

Overall, the February 2026 YA Box, Let The Games Begin, items were good. I was delighted with each of the items and the thought that was put into them. My favorite item this month was the book pot.

March's theme is Take it to the Grave, and in the shadows of the deadly forest surrounding the town, our main character is running out of resources. She makes a deal with the leader of the vampires in the forest: give her blood in exchange for what she needs. Things go awry when her best friend goes missing. Her brother comes searching and is willing to expose her secrets to find his sister. The leader of the vampires strikes a new deal to help them both, but it may be the most dangerous deal yet.

I hope you all enjoyed this review of the February 2026 OwlCrate YA box. I'm excited to read A Stage Set for Villains, and I am excited to use all of my themed items!
